Customs Museum

The Swiss Customs Museum presents the tasks performed by Customs and explains the different functions of the Swiss border and the Swiss Border Guard as they are today and as they were in the past.

Following the recent decision by the Federal Council, with effect from Monday, 13 September 2021 a COVID-19 certificate is required (for people aged 16 and over) in order to visit the Customs Museum, i.e. you need a valid Swiss or EU/EFTA COVID certificate (online version or hard copy) and an identification document. Please show these documents when visiting the museum. Hand disinfectant is available in the museum, and the museum itself is cleaned regularly. If you feel unwell or experience COVID-19 symptoms, please stay at home.
