Proofs of origin, approved exporter

Proofs of origin

In order to assess goods being imported into the country of destination at preferential tariffs (duty-free or at a reduced rate of duty), the proof of origin indicated in the corresponding free trade agreement is required.

You can find more information on the subject of proofs of origin in the following fact sheet:

Approved exporter

Approved exporters are authorised to make out declarations of origin on their invoices, generally up to any value, and are also not required to sign the documents by hand. For traffic within areas covered by free trade agreements for which movement certificates EUR-MED and/or EUR.1 are intended, they are therefore not required to request those forms.
