DocBox is the new internet application of the Federal Customs Administration where you can obtain your customs documents.
DocBox offers you the possibility to search for and download your customs documents, such as invoices, levies bordereaux, assessment decisions and refund receipts, quickly and for long time ranges.
DocBox groups documents into dossiers for you. Documents in a dossier either originate from the same process or were issued within the same time period. This means that you can obtain all these documents together in just a few steps.
DocBox is currently in a pilot phase and is currently aimed exclusively at users of the "Document GUI (Web GUI)" application. At the moment, DocBox provides all documents which are issued as a result of customs declarations, especially invoices.
In the future, further documents originating from other customs processes will be made available via DocBox. In addition, the users of customs software will also be able to access them.
In order to participate in the pilot project, you must currently be using the latest Web GUI and have a ZKV certificate (Customs client administration) installed on your computer. If you meet these two conditions and would like to have access to DocBox, please send an email with your business identification number (UID) (e.g. CHE123456789) to firstname.lastname@example.org
If you encounter technical difficulties of any kind, please contact the ICT Service Centre, either by calling 058 462 60 00 between 7am and 5pm or using the contact form.
Go to DocBox and select the login for Customs clients. Log in with your Customs client administration (ZKV) certificate. Please note that DocBox is not compatible with Internet Explorer.
In case of technical problems, please contact the ICT Service Centre on +41 58 462 60 00.
By clicking on the "Dossiers" tab, you will be taken to the dossiers screen. Here you will receive your documents already sorted into dossiers. You can download several dossiers at the same time by first selecting the desired items (1) and clicking on the "Download" button (2). If the "Download" function is not clickable, you must first request your documents (3). The status of the documents shows you whether they are directly downloadable or whether you have already obtained a document.
Downloading individual documents
When looking for specific single documents, you can click on the screen “Documents” (4). If you wish, you can adjust the filter options and then start the search (5). To download documents, select them (6) and click on "Download" (7).
